Harbor Breeze Ocean Grove Ceiling Fan Parts
The Harbor Breeze Ocean Grove ceiling fan is an indoor fan. It comes with a light kit and a remote control, and 5 blades. The Ocean Grove is primarily a contemporary fan. Although the sounds “Ocean Grove” may make you think, this fan has something to do with the ocean, but it appears to be just a straightforward contemporary fan. The one we’re showing or reviewing here is 52 inches in terms of the blade span, so it is capable of moving a good amount of air with the powerful motor that the fan comes with. This fan can be mounted with or without the downrod. This makes it versatile in terms of how it can be mounted to the ceiling. So with the downrod, you can mount it in a normal standard mounting situation – the downrod is 4 inches long. Or, you can mount to a flat ceiling or sloped ceiling. The ceiling slope should not exceed 12 degrees in slope.
The fan includes a dome light kit, with the globe being of a frosted white finish. Bulbs come with the fan as well which are 2 x 13 watt CFL bulbs. These are not LED lights like some of the newer style fans, so keep that in mind. Although it may come with some features mentioned, like a light kit and a remote, the fan is not energy efficient like fans that have LED light kits provide.
Is the Ocean Grove fan compatible with a longer downrod?
Yes, the Ocean Grove can be used with a longer downrod. It is recommended to take a look at universal downrods to find a longer one that you prefer. Remember that you need a tall ceiling to use longer downrods.
Remote does not have a reverse function
Fan is not compatible with dimmer switches – Harbor Breeze advises it is compatible, but reviewers advise that this is not the case

Where can I find a manual for the Ocean Grove ceiling fan?
It appears to be very difficult to find this manual online. Most of the websites that say they have it don’t, and when you visit the major retailer, they tell you to call a 1-800 number in order for them to email you the manual. If you do come across the manual online, please let us know and we’ll get it posted here to the website. The major retailer advises that parts replacement details are on page 19 of the manual. We hope that this is helpful, as we aren’t able to get our hands on the manual!
Lowe’s advises that you should call (800) 643-0067 to obtain a copy of the manual. It is unfourtunate it is not available online from
Lowe’s, and likely quite frustrating for people who are looking for the manual for their Ocean Breeze fan. Some websites offer a manual for the Pacific Breeze fan, this is not the same ceiling fan.
